Аннотация: Conventional Energy resources are exploited without any concern for nature. Soon these sources will get exhausted. Thus there is a need to development non-conventional and renewable energy resources which could be a reliable source for energy. Biogas technology is one the sustainable and Eco-friendly alternative. It consumes agricultural, domestic, industrial and municipal waste and in return provides methane gas which is capable of burning. Digested Sludge from biogas unit also serves as organic manure for growing crops. Biogas technology is also adapted for power generation and as bio-fuel in automobiles. This technology needs further boost from state and national civil authorities to gain its additional benefits.
