Geological and Economic Assessment in Ukraine. History and Basic Concepts

      Аннотация: Problems of subsoil use as an important factor in the state economy were always significant for the majority of countries. In Ukraine, this problem is complicated and long-lasting. Priority tasks of subsoil use have been consecutively considered in this work. The commodity value of mining production as an important factor of the state economy has been determined. The history of classification schemes for mineral reserves and resources have been studied. The sequence of execution of geological exploration works on solid minerals, oil and gas have been analyzed. Conditions of commercial geological-economic evaluation of mineral deposits have been disclosed.
