The Nigeria Police become ineffective in meeting the demands of the general public therefore effective policing is weakened and the persistence of internal Security challenges are seemingly. Police in ability to ensuring safety of lives and properties in the country are worrisome. The high rate of violent crimes such as terrorist attacks, kidnappings, armed robber, Boko Haram, suicide bombings, banditry, ethnic clashes and others forms of criminal activities in the country are becoming increasingly daily occurrence that is characterized life of the nation. Nigeria has consistently ranked low in the global peace index, signifying a worsened state of insecurity in the Country. It is not well with Nigeria where crime and violence are moving on a fast lane. The government through the Nigeria Military fulfills it obligation of security to the nation by co-opted Military in Internal Security operations of the nation to combat insecurity in the country.
