Аннотация: Place is a where dimension formed by people’s relationship with physical settings, individual & meanings.‘Place Attachment’, ‘Sense of Place’ are some concepts that could describe the quality of people’s relationships with a place. The third place is the social surroundings separate from the two usual social environments of home and the office. And the third age defines the period in life of active retirement, following middle age. A study on such people behavior with respect to social environment gives a deep understanding of the character & the ingenuity of the space. Today’s technological improvement has shifted the functions of social engagement of those spaces into Business. The existing scenario, its connection to the tradition and the developing trend needs to be considered and the end result can act as catalyst to the solutions for various problems related to Sense of place. The basic people & places behavior study, few literature and live case studies are a source of information for better understanding of the topic and helps in finding those past authentically architectural elements and promoting inclusive design solutions for elders in today’s urban architecture.
