Аннотация: This book is the only one of its kind which describes the valuation of Cinema Operators in emerging markets for Europe. Chapter 1 is an overview of global entertainment, media, and cinema industry trends. Chapter 2 talks about financial modeling by utilizing discounted cash flows for decision making and feasibility analysis. In this chapter, the reader is provided a summary of a discounted cash flow valuation approach on a generic financial model for a hypothetical cinema operator which operates in Turkey. Chapter 3 presents the inorganic expansion strategy via merger and acquisitions for cinema chains. The case of Eastern Europe is handled with indicative benchmark multiple valuation examples for the Easter Europe cinema operators’ market. Chapter 4 is solely business expansion and vertical integration in the entertainment industry for a cinema operator and presents case studies in the Turkish market. The integration of comic books, esports, and movie industry is discussed deeply in this part.
