Аннотация: The present book Introduction to Plant Biology is designed to accompany a College course in degree in Basic Plant Sciences /Plant Biology. Its purpose is to guide students through the step-by-step procedures used to study plant process and function. In the fifteen sections of this book, students will be introduced to general morphological aspects of flowering plant. In the first exercise students will learn about morphological studies of flowering plant. At the same time, this first exercise provides instruction to students how to study the plant tissues etc. The various modifications of stem, leaves and roots of the higher plants exercise provides students with basic knowledge of how the plant tissues will modify and their relations in plants and how the growth occurs. In the further exercises, students will investigate plant nutrition, growth regulation and PGR’s, Photoperiodic responses in crop plants, Germination for oilseeds, cereals and pulse, nutritional deficiency symptoms in crops plats to obtain a better understanding of plant growth and development.
