This is based on realizing the need and role of social worker in improving the quality of life of the Aged.As per works of our revered former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, The three societal members who can make a difference are father, mother and Teacher(Guru). Thus , the significance of a social worker is emphasized in being a guide and counselor, when the child is away from parents.I thank the Lord Almighty who always strengthens me to fulfill my heart’s desire for a good cause. I am sure this book will serve as a foundation for the knowledge in SOCIAL WORK PRACTICE WITH ELDERLY to all Social workers.
