Аннотация: The text of this book focuses on with the risk factors of developing diabetic foot ulcers among diabetic patients and the susceptibility patterns of the antibiotics against the bacterial infection in Mukalla city-Hadhramout/Yemen as the first study carried out to investigate the prevalence of bacterial infection in wounds of diabetic patients and assessment role of the antibiotics patterns against the bacterial infection of diabetic foot ulcers classified according to Wagner’s grades system. The book starts with a review of diabetes mellitus as one of the main global health problems and foot ulcers as the most significant complications of diabetes, the factors contributing to diabetic foot ulceration, as well as Wagner’s ulcer grades classification for diabetic foot ulcers. Details procedures for examining bacterial infection of diabetic foot ulcers and its susceptibility testing discussed in material and methods, and the book has been extensively supplemented with tables and figures. It is the hope of all the contributors to this book that the use of the testing procedures described here will increase our understanding of diabetic foot ulcers.
