Аннотация: Medicinal plants have come into focus in global research following the rapidly increasing resistance of bacteria to present antibiotics. Of concern are the predictions that global deaths resulting from the depleting effects of antibiotics could double in coming years. Dermatophytes have always been obnoxious for their superficial and interior attacks on the skin especially on immunosuppressed patients. We, in this book tend to x-ray the medicinal effects of some selected plants namely: Aspilia Africana (pers.) C.D Adams [family Compositea], Waltheria indica Linn, Vitex donianna (Sweet verbanaceae), Cajanus cajan (Fabaceae) and Monodera myristica (Annonaceae) on some pathogenic fungi, rapidly growing mycobacterium species and Helicobacter pyrori. The minimum concentrations and the phytochemical constituents of the plants were examined.
