Аннотация: Endophytic fungi of selected plants are important sources of bioactive products with enormous potentials for the discovery of new drug molecules for drug development. In this book contains the report of studies conducted to screen endophytic fungi isolated from Garcinia kola and Cola nitida leaves for antimicrobial and antioxidant activities. A total of 30 segments from the leaves of Garcinia kola and Cola nitida were surface sterilized and cultured on Malt Extract Agar. Isolated endophytic fungi were identified, fermented, metabolic extract recovered, principle compounds identified by High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) analysis, and studied for biological activities.
