Аннотация: This book describes usefulness of MeV ion beam material analysis techniques which provide eventually with finding of new phenomena, when they are applied to the current material topics. Here, three topics are described in relation to reaction of Li in all solid state Li ion batteries, hydrogen isotopes exchange in oxide ceramics and protection of wall material surfaces in fusion devices by carbon segregationIn Chapter 1, a concept of MeV ion beam analysis techniques is described which are utilized for the data analysis described in the following chapters. In Chapter 2, recent experimental results on solid state Li ion batteries measured by the ion beam analysis since 2013 are summarized. In Chapter 3, an anomalous replacement of hydrogen isotopes (D and H) is described that D implanted into oxide ceramics is rapidly replaced by H in air vapor, but H implanted is hardly replaced by D in heavy water vapor. In Chapter 4, protection of VC and TiC films deposited on graphite from ion sputtering by carbon segregation at their surface is introduced.
Ключевые слова: Li ion batteries, Hydrogen storage and production, carbon segregation, MeV ion beam analysis.
