Аннотация: The contribution of nurses in non-traditional areas such as schools, has made it imperative to understand the varied aspects of their role and job satisfaction to achieve better health outcomes. The book aims to investigate the factors affecting job satisfaction and the relationship between job satisfaction, autonomy and self-efficacy amongst school nurses in Bahrain with mixed methods approach. The results showed high levels of job satisfaction among school nurses with a positive correlation of job satisfaction with job autonomy, and insignificant relationship with self-efficacy. Addressing training and education needs, standardization of roles and regulatory professional bodies, and the need to promote healthy work environment, emerged as important factors to enhance job satisfaction for the school nurses in Bahrain .
