The Epic. The Dramatic Elements in The Epic of Gilgamesh and in the Sumarian and Babylonian Literature

      Аннотация: This research is to focus on the dramatic elements in the epic , and on its method of writing and on its literary and artistic value , rather than to focus on the other aspects. Moreover that the question which arises in this research: why should I focus on the dramatic elements of the Epic, and on its artistic literary value in this research more than the other subjects? To answer this question, I can say that the assessment of any creative work whatever it is old or new, comes through its literary value and through the amount of its impact upon life in general, because the value of literature lies in its impact on the heritage of the mankind as a whole. Therefore this research seek to present the ideas and the facts, and analysing them by realistic methods, and also will seek to analyses its chapters and the most important points of the whole epic, which can shed light on the epic and on its technical aspects, as well on some literary pieces and mythologies Sumerian or Babylonian, that came to us from different historic periods. All this will be through a deep study to know these stages.
