Аннотация: Heart surgery is one of the most significant surgical achievement of medical science in 20th century. Lots of dedicated, legendary heart surgeons like Alexis Carrel, C W Lillehei, John H. Gibbon Jr., V I Kolesov, Rene G Favaloro, Michel E DeBakey, Denton A Cooley, Robert H Goetz, Vladimir P Demikhov, Cristiaan N Barnard, Norman Shumway and many others contributed here in this field. They made impossible things possible and served the humanity. They invented each procedure that took several decades and used their lifetime knowledge and research. Most of the time many scientists of same or different era worked together to make the procedure more accurate, safe with no or minimum after effect. Generations of the scientist working continuously to make it more perfect, even today. Surgeons of present generation know the history of origin a little, sometimes not. They will be happy to know the glorious history of origin or invention of the procedure that took several decades of pain, stress, criticism of others, patience and lots of limitations then. And, unfortunately, pain of losing human lives.
