Аннотация: Millions of people became infected by dengue virus (DENV) each year in different tropical and subtropical regions of the world. Dengue virus contains four different serotypes with specific epitopes that are very unique to each other. A primary infection that results from the anyone of the 4 different dengue virus serotypes, provides a long lasting immunity for that specific serotype and short-term protection to the other serotypes that further decreases in case of secondary infection with any other serotype. At present, there is no vaccine to cure the infection of dengue (DEN) virus resulting by four different serotypes of this virus. So, the development of tetravalent vaccine to offer safety against four dengue virus serotypes has become an ultimate goal because of the absence of any approved vaccine. The main objective of this research was to make a recombinant antigen that will produce neutralizing antibodies with cross reactive ability against all Dengue virus four serotypes. For this purpose, consensus sequence from dengue structural protein “Envelope” domain III was used as potential candidate in the production of tetravalent vaccine.
