Tribal Community in India:. An Analysis of Socio-Economic, Health and Poverty condition

      Аннотация: This book achieved its objectives of finding out the status of tribal population in India; the socio economic conditions of yenadi tribes; the health status and the major health problems among Yenadi tribes; intensity of poverty among Yenadi tribes and the socio economic changes in yenadi tribes in the study areas of Nellore District of Andra Pradesh. The government policies, programs and schemes should take into consideration, the involvement of STs to develop their socio-economic, health and poverty conditions in present day scenario by following transparency, participation and accountability criteria and promote both the welfare and development of the tribal people. The life of STs may change, if enough opportunities are provided to them to rise from their present situation. Poverty can be removed by creating opportunities like employment (which can give constant and sufficient income), increase in chances, training, skills, education, professional education, nutritional food, facilitated dwelling, technology etc.
