Endodontists can now harness the potential to remineralize and generate the tooth material,which heal biological structures for their ultimate objective: attaining the best possible clinical outcomes for their patients. Thus, in the near future it can be envisioned that there will be better alternatives in the field of restorative dentistry in the form of bioactive materials. Bioactive technology will provide new mechanisms for better adhesion, integration and sealing of dentinal tubules of the dentine.An up-to-date knowledge of these new bioactive materials is essential to ensure the selection of the most suitable material indifferent clinical situations.
