COVID 19- An Insight.

      Аннотация: SARS-CoV-2 is a novel strain of coronavirus that has not been previously identified in humans. It had been declared a pandemic in the year 2020. Transmission among humans is reported to occur via close contact with an infected individual that produces respiratory droplets. Patients have been shown to undergo acute respiratory distress syndrome, which is defined as a cytokine storm. The diagnosis relies on the detection of nucleic acid, IgG/IgM antibodies, and a chest radiograph of the suspected individuals. Detailed knowledge and information on previous viral outbreaks and pandemic have potentially helped researchers, health agencies and administrations a lot in response to COVID-19. Yet several zones of grey areas do exist despite the vast literature available on morphology, pathogenesis, initiation, transmission, best diagnostic methods, possible treatment outcome, contact tracing, precautionary steps, proper public health management and many other fields related to the COVID 19 disease. The present compilation provides detailed information with an additional dental perspective about the pandemic.
