      Аннотация: The monograph presents the results of research conducted in the field of medical preventive shoes. As a result of the analysis of scientific works on the subject of the study, the place of medical preventive and comfort shoes in the general classification of footwear has been determined; the main directions of footwear comfort have been identified; the design solutions proposed by various researchers and the leading world footwear companies in creating preventive and comfort footwear designs have been analyzed. A methodology for designing lasts for preventive and comfort shoes has been developed. Samples of children's preventive insoles, half insoles and arch linings were produced. Designs of insoles and inlays for comfort shoes and medical preventive shoes were developed.The monograph is intended for bachelors, masters, doctoral students and readers who are interested in the creation of medical preventive shoes. This monograph is published as part of the state scientific-technical program ITD-10 A-10-4 on the theme: "Development of design and technology for the manufacture of special footwear for children with pathological abnormalitie”.
