      Аннотация: The book on " AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH, RESEARCH ETHICS AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME” is a worthy study material for the scientists and students of PG and Ph.D degree programme offered at all State and Deemed Agricultural Universities of India. This book deals the aspects of agricultural research, research ethics and rural development programmes. In first seven chapters, information about History of agriculture in brief followed by Global Agricultural Research System, Role in promoting food security, reducing poverty and protecting the environment, National Agricultural Research System (NARS), Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR), International Agricultural Research Centres and International fellowship for scientific mobility were given. From chapter 8 – 11, Research Integrity, Research Safety in Laboratories, Plagiarism, Welfare of Animals used in Research, Computer ethics and Standards and problems in research ethics were dealt under Research Ethics. Finally, the chapters 12 – 15 highlights Concepts, Connotations, Policies and Strategies of Rural Development, Rural Development Programmes of India, Co-operatives, Voluntary or NGO organisations.
