Tooth trauma leaves not only physical permanent scars but also psychological impact on its victims. Understanding the basic principles and therapeutic protocols can help to provide the appropriate treatment and prevent complication.Good knowledge of traumatology and models of treatments can also reduce stress and anxiety for both the patient and the dental team. Reconstruction, restoration and management of traumatic injury is a demanding and challenging experience.
