Аннотация: The Branch of Ayurveda Which Deals With the Pharmaceutical Preparation of Rasaushadhis is known as Rasashastra. Earlier the main concept of Rasashastra is to transform lower metals (Lead,Tin,copper,Zinc) in to higher metals (gold ,silver) however in latter period it is shifted mainly focus on strengthening the body tissues and maintain them in healthy state state so as to remove poverty senility disease and death from the world. Pharmaceutics is the science as well as an art of preparing and dispensing drugs. The achievement of treatment depend upon skillful Preparation of the drug by using authentic material and following the traditional process. There are seven metals describe in classical literature i.e. Swarna, Rajata, Tamra, loha, vanga, naga and yashada. These are having high therapeutic values both in preventing and curing various diseases. Vanga is one of such metal having wide range of therapeutic values. Present book is about classical literature i.e. two types of purification methods given for the vanga metal first Normal purification and second one is special methods of purification and after purification various methods described in literature for marana.
