Implant Esthetics. Managing Peri-implant Soft Tissue - The Critical Link To Success In Implantology

      Аннотация: Implant is the closest equivalent replacement of a natural tooth. Implant dentistry has evolved over the years has become most frequently practiced dental procedure, as it is a functionally sound prosthesis leading to higher success rates. With increased frequency in implant placement, increase in concern while placing implants in aesthetic zone has been observed. Placement of implant in aesthetic zone is extremely technique sensitive and requires proper examination, diagnosis and treatment. Preservation or regeneration of lost soft and hard tissue is extremely important for esthetic and functional success of implant. Different procedural interventions, before and after implant placement can be carried out for optimum esthetic outcome of the treatment. This book addresses the essential measures to be undertaken for placement of an implant in the aesthetic zone ensuring successful treatment.
