LANGUAGE AND NATION. Monograph

      Аннотация: The problem of language and nation in aspects of social stratification of language, ethnography of communication, interlanguage interaction and also backgrounds and perspectives of social linguistic research is considered in the monograph. Innovative processes are revealed in the lexis of both related and unrelated national languages, which are reflected in the dictionaries of various types.Particular attention is paid to the correlation of language and nation from the perspective of such issues as: 1) Naturalness and social character of the language (Chapter 1); 2) Language as a factor of formation of a nation (Chapter 2); 3) Interaction and mutual enrichment of national languages (Chapter 3).It is for specialists and anyone, who is interested in the issues of language and nation, culture, ethnos and society. The results of this research can be used both in linguistics courses, special courses in linguistic regional studies and bilingualism theory.
