The utility of various dental materials ranging from diagnosis to rehabilitation for the management of oral diseases are not devoid of posing a potential risk of inducing allergic reactions to pediatric patients, as well as dentists. Whenever a patient presents with signs and symptoms with dental materials, a possibility of allergic reaction must always be considered, and thorough investigations are necessary to achieve an accurate diagnosis and should deliver treatment as early as possible. Over the last few years, due to the rise in the number of patients with allergies to different materials, the practicing dentists, as well as students, should have knowledge about allergies to known materials and thus avoid such allergic manifestations in the dental clinic. This book depicts documented allergies to dental materials in pediatric patients, their manifestation, and their management in the dental clinic.
