A nutraceutical is a substance that is a food or a part of food and provides medical or health benefits, including the prevention and treatment of disease. Such products may range from isolated nutrients, dietary supplements and specific diets to genetically engineered designer foods and herbal products. Aloe vera gel contains various constituents, which shows beneficial effect on biological system. The main problem associated in formulating any dosage form is stability of Aloe vera gel. After solving the stability problem of gel, it will be easy to formulate suitable dosage forms for various purposes.
