      Аннотация: In education, as everywhere else, technology increases alternatives, opens up new possibilities. It demands of these who would use it fully and well a firm grasp of their own basic purposes. Broadly speaking the use of textbooks, audiovisual aids, programmed learning educational films, educational television and computers, for the realization of educational objectives in the modern industrial culture is known as educational technology. Branching programme anticipates the errors of learners. The errors are diagnosed and remedial instruction is provided. Crowder points out that the branching programme is like a human tutor and ‘talks back’ to the student. Hence today teachers and students need an instructional technique which helps them to learn in ease and effective.
