Аннотация: Sesame (Sesamum indicum L.) is one of the most important oilseed crops next to groundnut, rapeseed and mustard in India. Major constraint limiting the productivity of sesame is its slow growth during seedling stage, ideal for heavy weed infestation to smother the crop leading to heavy yield loss.Chemical method is more favourable and effective due to their quick action, selectivity and cost effectiveness.
