      Аннотация: Motivation is Key in the performance of employees in every setup of the organization. The organization's productivity is closely associated with the motivation, top management support and empowerment presided over to the employees. Every organization across the globe has ways of ensuring that their employees are motivated and that they contribute effectively and efficiently towards the mission and vision in line with the organization's objectives. Employees may be motivated differently and this may have either adverse or positive effects on the success of the organization. On the other hand, performance may be measured by the effort exemplified and the amount of energy expedited by the employees. Employee performance ought to be evident across all sections within the organization. Dedan Kimathi University of Technology the review of the performance is a case in point. The top management support is also vital for the flourishing and performance of the institution has also not been so evident. Due to the above challenges that need to be established, the research has established factors influencing the performance of employees of the Dedan Kimathi University of Technology.
