      Аннотация: The manifestation of oral pigmentation is quite variable, ranging from a focal macule to broad, diffuse tumefactions. The specific hue, duration, location, number, distribution, size, and shape of the pigmented lesions may also be of diagnostic importance. Moreover, in order to obtain an accurate diagnosis, thorough medical, dental, family and social histories are required, and various diagnostic and laboratory tests, including biopsy may be necessary. Thus, an understanding of the various disorders and substances that can contribute to oral and perioral pigmentation is essential for the appropriate evaluation, diagnosis, and management of the patient. Here we will discuss about the various oral pigmentation and its clinical importance.
