Аннотация: Companies all over the world are presently confronting very harsh economic climate occasioned by the Covid-19 pandemic. Many of these companies are merely struggling to survive. The situation of African indigenous enterprises is even gloomier, owing to their dysfunctional operating business environments. This bleak scenario should necessitate some form of inward looking in terms of searching for dormant organizational assets that can be activated and mobilized to improve the liquidity status of companies. Unfortunately, most African business leaders do not know how they can turn the hidden wealth domiciled within unseen knowledge assets into money. However, their enterprises are blessed with unique knowledge assets. These assets are referred to as intellectual capital in modern management parlance. Intellectual capital comprises knowledge assets that are intangible, invisible and strategic in nature. Because of its intangibility and invisibility, there are some complexities surrounding the management of this asset. This book offers the most pragmatic and authoritative source of information for CEOs who want to understand how intellectual capital can effectively be managed.
