      Аннотация: The book 'Postmodernism and Postmodern Fiction: Contribution of Women Writers in the Age of Virtual Reality', explores and examines the makers of Modernism and Postmodernosm and critically appreciates the substantial contribution of a few eminent women Nobel laureates like Nadine Gordimer, Alice Munro and Elfriede Jelinek to the literary corpus called Postmodern fiction in the age of virtual reality. It critically evaluates how Postmodernism is an exasperating term in the vocabulary not only of literary theorists but also of political scientists, philosophers, media, the artist, sociologists and feminist discourses. With reference to a few masterpieces of postmodern fiction, the said book thoroughly explores the thesis: The most probable and tenable antidote and panacea to all kinds of atrocities against women in particular and masses in general lie in literature, particularly postmodern fiction.
