Аннотация: Class II malocclusion is the second most common type of malocclusion, with a worldwide prevalence rate of approximately 15 % and that of 1.9% to 15% in the Indian population. Skeletal Class II malocclusion exhibits various combinations owing to the position of the mandible and maxilla concerning the cranial base and also each other. Correct diagnosis and subsequent treatment planning for the management of this malocclusion are often found to be challenging. Various treatment modalities for management include growth modulation therapy, orthodontic/surgical camouflage techniques, and ortho-surgical management. This book provides insight into the various treatment modalities for the management of Class II malocclusion to enhance the understanding of diagnosis and treatment planning associated with each of the treatment modalities for its management.
