Current Situation of Renewable Energy in the world and in Turkey. Potential and Utilization of Renewable Energy in Turkey

      Аннотация: Renewable energy sources are used more today than in the past, the main reasons behind this are that oil and natural gas are about to run out, environmental sensitivity has increased and environmental pollution has become serious, being completely domestic, and electricity production costs are now low. Turkey is a very rich country in terms of renewable energy resources. In this context, investments in renewable energy resources have increased and started to be used more in Turkey, as in the whole world. When we look at the last 10-20 years in Turkey, the share of renewable energy sources has increased considerably in meeting the electrical energy needed. While this rate was almost zero at the beginning of the 2000s, it has now reached 18%. But it is also a fact that Turkey still does not use its enormous renewable energy resources in very desirable amounts. Nevertheless, the point reached allows us to look to the future with hope.
