Аннотация: Jackfruit, evergreen tree (family: Moraceae) native to tropical Asia. The jackfruit is a multipurpose species providing wood, timber, fuel, fodder, and medicinal and industrial products. It is a very large and evergreen tree grown for its gigantic and spined oval fruits. It is one of the largest tree borne fruits in the world. Jackfruit grown all over the India. In Maharashtra there are several local types and improved varieties commercially grown in different parts. In view of the above facts, the present studies entitled “Physico-chemical evaluation and dehydration qualities of jackfruit genotypes” was carried out in Analytical laboratory, Department of Horticulture, Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola during the year 2016-17 were undertaken with 13 genotypes with following objectives. Objectives1) To study the physico-chemical parameters of jackfruit of different genotypes.2) To study the physico-chemical parameters of dehydrated jackfruit of different genotypes.3) To find out superior genotype of jackfruit on the basis of physic-chemical characteristics and dehydrated qualities.
