Аннотация: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a country of great importance in the Arab-Muslim community at different levels especially cultural, historical, socio-economic and geopolitics. We strongly believe that there are indeed two essential reasons for current strategic choices undertaken by the Saudi government. First, the kingdom has opted for a new socioeconomic development model to diversify its oil-based economy in accordance with its prospective “Vision 2030”. Secondly, it developed a strong entrepreneurial orientation using the crowdfunding as an innovative financial practice. Overall, this book contribute to our understanding some entrepreneurial practices such as corporate entrepreneurship and the use of crowdfunding as a funding source of new Saudi venture.The rise of the two first Crowdfunding platforms in Saudi Arabia show the willingness of the government to encourage and support novice entrepreneurs and SME in terms of the current legal framework. Nevertheless, the regulation have to elucidate the contractual relationship between the crowdfunding platform and the entrepreneur, also to take into account the complex relationships between the entrepreneur and investor as crowdfunder.
