Аннотация: The study determined the relative effectiveness of computer and video mediated instruction in improving performance of students in practical Chemistry. It also compare the effectiveness of the classroom demonstration technique integrated with each of computer mediated and video mediated instruction in improving students’ performance in practical Chemistry and also investigate the relative effectiveness of computer and video mediated instruction in enhancing the retention ability of students in practical Chemistry. These were with a view to improve the performance of students in chemistry. The study concluded that the use of computer and video mediated instruction improved student’s performance in Chemistry. Moreover, it was discovered that computer mediated instruction integrated with classroom demonstration techniques improved the retention ability of students more in Chemistry.
