Аннотация: Metal matrix composites are used mostly in spaceships, aerospace, automotive, biotechnology, and sporting goods industries, but due to their high cost, experiments are usually done to reduce the cost of the composites and inexpensive materials are utilized for metal matrix composites. But the manufacturing process cost is one of the other important factors that increase the cost of the composites. Stir casting is one of the most inexpensive and easy processes for composite manufacturing. The present research work is on “The process developments of stir casting and Experimental Study on Effects of MgO on Aluminium Alloy LM14 were investigated. During this investigation, MgO powder was used with Aluminium alloy LM14 for reinforcement and a composite was prepared using Liquid metal stir casting route with various percentage combinations of LM14/MgO was investigated in this research. The physical viz. density, mechanical viz. tensile, compressive, hardness and impact, metallurgical property viz. The optical and scanning Electron Microscope of LM14 has been observed in the presence of MgO was increased. Finite element method was employed in this work.
