Professional Integration of the Young People: Second Edition. Romania within the European Context

      Аннотация: This volume aims to analyze the process of professional integration of young people in Romania in the European context and to answer questions such as: what are the trajectories that young people follow during this process? what are the factors that facilitate the integration process and those that obstruct it? who supports the young people in this approach and how? The process of professional integration is a complex one that must be analyzed from multiple perspectives - traditional and modern - and requires complex data sets: quantitative and qualitative, at the international, European, and national levels. From a traditional perspective, the best-known theories in economics and sociology (the theory of human capital or the theory of social reproduction) have best explained the process, and for the modern perspective, we have detailed the theory of the rational search for a job developed by Vincens. The issue of professional integration is one that requires constant updates, especially in the current context marked by profound changes in all societies and this volume has the role of signaling its importance not only for young people but for society as a whole.
