      Аннотация: Smile is a universally known expression of happiness and can brighten up not just your day, but others around you as well. However, if you’re hiding behind a shy smile and are afraid to open wide because you don’t like the appearance of your teeth, then braces are the answer. Orthodontic treatment, however, is a double-edged sword, as it brings along potential risks of gingival inflammation, root resorption, enamel decalcification, and most importantly, it can burnout patient’s co-operation. These consequences can be minimized if the duration of treatment is shortened. Unfortunately many potential orthodontic patients decline treatment, due to long treatment time of 2 years or longer.
