But with digitization, it has become easy. 3-D printing is revolutionizing the orthodontic process, providing digital advantages over the traditional workflow process. There is clearly great potential for 3D printing applications in clinical dentistry and perhaps most obviously in orthodontics. While this involves a transition from conventional methods to a fully digital workflow especially in mastering the software and different physical processes, there is no doubt that this technology is here to stay and that it will evolve even further for orthodontic uses. Thus, Orthodontic digitization and 3D printing have raised the level of standards of care by providing patients with an optimal orthodontic appliance, with elevated levels of accuracy.
