      Аннотация: This work was designed to give insights on the various key topics in industrial microbiology. The topics discussed include screening for microbes of industrial importance and industrial products, detection and assay of fermentation products, aspect of the biology of industrial culture techniques and maintenance, media and air sterilization required for microbial fermentation, fermentation, types of fermenters, design and uses of fermenters and optimization of fermentation process. The screening of microbes was addressed involves the primary and secondary screening methods. Isolation of microorganisms is being carried out using various selective media as well as certain biochemical tests are carried out to identify the microorganisms. The production process of fermentation process involves upstream and downstream processes). The assay and microorganisms used in the assay of the fermentation process are of great importance in the success of the fermentation process. Microbial culture techniques and culture handling process is an integral part of industrial microbiology as the success of getting a desired result is dependent on it.
