Application of Stem Cells in Orthodontics.

      Аннотация: Stem cells are a class of undifferentiated master cells that have the property to self-renew and differentiate into many specialized cell types in the body, becoming extremely important in dental and medical fields. Stem cell research has been a field of great clinical interest with immense possibilities of to replace, restore, or enhance the biological function of damaged tissues and organs due to accidents, diseases, and/or developmental defects. The knowledge of stem cell technology is moving extremely fast in both dental and medical fields. Advances in characterization, standardization, and validation of stem cell therapies and applications have been leading to the development of various therapeutic modalities With the recent introduction of stem cell therapy in dentistry and especially in orthodontics, it has opened doors to treating various defects in its initial stages and achieve wonderful results.
