      Аннотация: This book is about Imaging Modalities In Oral And Maxillofacial Surgery. The discovery of the X-ray by WC Roentgen in 1895 began the history of diagnostic imaging of the human body, including that of oral and maxillofacial regions.Radiographic imaging is one of the greatest investigative tools that are used in medical sciences since ages. There is an important role of imaging in staging, treatment planning, and post-treatment follow up of patients. Changing from analogue to digital radiography has not only made the process simpler and faster but also made image storage, manipulation (brightness/ contrast, image cropping, etc. ) and retrieval easier. The three-dimensional imaging has made the complex cranio-facial structures more accessible for examination and early and accurate diagnosis of deep seated lesions.
