Special Complete Dentures. Unconventional ways of complete denture treatment

      Аннотация: Many edentulous patients regardless of the excellence of professional skills, techniques and humanitarian concern are maladaptive to complete dentures because of various unconventional situations. Better rehabilitation of the edentulous patient is possible with appropriate use of these unconventional dentures. Hence, there are many clinical conditions in which conventional complete denture might not be sufficient to fulfil form, function and aesthetics of patient’s dental and related oral structures. However, providing a satisfactory prosthesis to the patient despite of any compromised conditions should be the prime concern of a prosthodontist. Therefore, variety of ‘Special Complete Dentures’ and their details are further discussed in the following chapters.
