FUNDAMENTAL CONCEPTS OF TRADITIONAL AND BIG DATA DATABASE MODELS.

      Аннотация: Today, any modern business process is a data-driven environment. Data is the core of nearly every daily business activity and databases are the heart of all desktop and web applications. To serve, develop and improve your business processes, you need to ensure your data quality : the accuracy (having a correct information which reflects your real-world situation), the completeness (all your requisite information available), the reliability (your used information doesn’t contradict another information in a different source), the relevance ( you really need this data) and the timeliness ( how up to date your used data is). On the other hand, picking the right database model and management system is one of the key decisions that will drive how you architect your business application, your web site...etc.To meet these requirements, many different database patterns, structures (types) and management system (DBMS) have been developed over the years, such as Flat-File (simple data structures used to organize small amounts of local data). Hierarchical databases (mapping data into trees by using parent-child relationships).
