Аннотация: India is one of the very few countries in the world with rich natural resources in the form of fish aquaculture. The rapid expansion in aquaculture using modern biotechnology is the most remarkable development in fishery industries worldwide in the past decade. This is mainly due to the increase of demand in the consumer market and foreign exchange through the aquaculture. The major outbreak of the pathogenic infection in fishes has been a real economic damage to the fishery industry, in the recent past fish farmers have long attempted to control pathogens that damage fish aqua farming by unleashing organisms that are deadly to the Causing organism. There has already been a shift from traditional management to the one that makes a greater use of modern biotechnological tools for achieving fish production level. Although the use of artificially applied biocontrol agents is now increasing it is still not expensive. Despite our struggle to control disease causing organisms. Their significance seems to be increasing rather than decreasing. Chemical pesticides, antibiotics, for Control of fish disease causing organisms are expensive and sometimes hazardous to the ecosystem.
