Overall, obesity indulged in reduced quality of life and poor work performance. Studies worldwide demonstrated that obesity had grown into a global health issue affecting developed and developing nations. However, recent findings showed a dramatic rise in obesity in low-and middle-income countries, mainly urban areas. Obesity is now considered a growing public health issue associated with increased morbidity and mortality and increased social-economic costs.
