Foreplay with Literature 3. Tracing Literary Roots

      Аннотация: ‘Foreplay With Literature 3’ is going to be the third book in another trilogy, apart from the first trilogy of the serial long-titled, ‘Romantic Foreplay With Literary Studies I - III.’ Not withstanding what they may be called, these are serial collection of literary essays (seminar papers, assignments, presentations etc) in the course of my studies at Master’s level at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. They may not be ‘perfect’ academic writings because they are my toddlings in literature. These toddlings, as mentioned, come in series in which I did my best to group the essays (howbeit loosely) according to relatedness, or sometimes, according to works mentored by particular teacher(s). I again beg imperfection to please spare me! Thankfully, six parts have been reeled out already, this is the part six, the third in the second trilogy. This sixth part contains three essays in three chapters altogether, and it is subtitled, ‘… Tracing Literary Roots.’ I so much wish that you read this collection of essays and do an honest review or critique of them because that is the purpose for which they are put out here. A writer's confidence should be built from such engaging comments as you are capable of giving. Your critique or review matters to me because they would inform and probably reform me and my writing, making me a better litterateur. Thanks in anticipation of your comments.
