DENTAL IMPLANTS: COMPLICATIONS AND THEIR MANAGEMENT.

      Аннотация: Dental implants have become a popular treatment option for missing teeth in recent years. There is a wide range of dental implant complications that an operator may face. There can be various challenges associated with oral implants as a result of inadequate bone quantity and poor quality, lack of proper surgical technique, inappropriate prosthesis design, presence of infection, poor oral hygiene, lack of patient cooperation and presence of poorly controlled systemic diseases. Thus, knowledge of complications related to placement of implant and the subsequent prosthesis is important for the overall implant treatment modality. This book has focussed on various complications related to the field of oral implantology like complications related to treatment planning, surgical complications, mechanical complications, aesthetic complications, biological complications and various other complications.
